As humans, we want the finest things in life. It's the way we're wired. We all share a bit of a hedonistic side. This is true for all of us and our desire to be taken care of and loved, the need to touch others and the constant desire for more money or better things in life. It's true that not, even the obsession with eating is the result of this hedonistic tendency. And we want all those things as they give us satisfaction.
Food is always an essential part of our lives for humans, but it's in the past 50 or so years that we're seeing the food industry changing and evolving, and attempting to meet our needs but also to our hedonistic desire for pleasure. We thought today we'd go deeper into the science of satisfaction we feel from food and the way our brains take it in.
