12. Let the basket dry

It is best to allow the parts of your air fryer to dry completely before placing them back into the appliance. Water contains all kinds of minerals, such as lime. You can accumulate a lot more deposits on your basket if you do not dry it properly. This of course depends on how hard the water is from your tap, but it is still advisable to go over it with a tea towel!
